Tripsdrill Attractions

Tripsdrill Adventure Park, located in picturesque Cleebronn (Baden-Württemberg), is Germany’s oldest amusement park, proving since 1929 that tradition and modern thrills can make the perfect pair. If you’re looking for a place with soul, where you’ll find Swabian humor, half-timbered architecture, and wine-barrel-shaped rides instead of plastic decorations, Tripsdrill is the perfect choice for the 2026 season.

Tripsdrill features over 100 attractions divided between the amusement park and the adjacent wildlife park (Wildparadies):

  • Hals-über-Kopf & Volldampf: A globally unique duo of roller coasters whose tracks intertwine. Hals-über-Kopf is a suspended coaster (STC) with four inversions, and Volldampf is a family boomerang coaster styled after an old locomotive.
  • Karacho: A catapult roller coaster that accelerates to 100 km/h in 1.6 seconds. The ride takes place partly in the dark and includes spectacular loops.
  • Mammut: A massive wooden roller coaster whose design is inspired by a sawmill. A classic of the genre at its best.
  • Altweibermühle (Old Women’s Mill): The park’s icon. According to legend, women who enter the mill come out… rejuvenated. In reality, it’s great fun with giant slides.
  • Wildparadies: A 47-hectare forest home to over 60 animal species (wolves, lynxes, bears). Many of them can be fed by hand, and the falconry shows are breathtaking.

History of the Amusement Park

The history of Tripsdrill dates back to 1789, but it officially emerged as an entertainment venue in 1929, when Eugen Fischer opened the “Old Women’s Mill.” The park remains in the hands of the Fischer family to this day, and this is evident at every turn—attention to detail and an authentic, regional atmosphere are top priorities here. Tripsdrill has repeatedly won the European Star Award for the best amusement park in Europe (in the category of up to 1 million visitors).

Company Information

Behind the park’s success is a family-owned company that has managed it for generations:

Erlebnispark Tripsdrill 1, 74391 Cleebronn, Germany
