Center Parcs Europe manages a network of 27 resorts (an additional 2 under the name Sunparks). On its premises, it offers accommodation for 2, 4, 6 or 8 people in cottages, hotels and, for picky guests, in water or tree houses.
The resorts central building houses a shopping centre, restaurants, swimming pools with a water park, gyms, a spa centre and indoor as well as outdoor sports facilities. This is complemented by spacious playgrounds and children’s entertainment.
History of the Center Parcs
Center Parcs was founded in 1968 in the Netherlands by Gérard Brémond. Initially as campsites, it later increased its offering to bungalows and, ultimately, a chain of chalets with an on-site entertainment centre. In 2003, the French holding company Pierre & Vacances acquired the company to add to its hotel portfolio.

Most resorts are open to their guests all year round, with prices starting from as little as €50 per night. These depend on the season, location, number of people and the standard of the cottage.
