Skyline Park Attractions

Allgäu Skyline Park in Bavaria (near Bad Wörishofen) is a place that proves an amusement park doesn’t have to be a massive corporation to offer world-class thrills. Managed by the Löwenthal family, it’s famous for its unique blend of nostalgic carousels, extreme rides, and an idyllic, green atmosphere.

Skyline Park features over 60 attractions that will satisfy both thrill-seekers and families with younger children.

  • Sky Wheel: Europe’s tallest overhead roller coaster (with an upside-down ride). The view from the very top (50 m) is as terrifying as it is beautiful.
  • Allgäuflieger: The world’s highest flying carousel (150 m high!). This attraction is for those with nerves of steel, offering a panoramic view of the Alps.
  • Sky Shot: A capsule launched to a height of 90 meters using powerful rubber cables.
  • Wildwasserbahn III: The world’s largest mobile water coaster, now a permanent fixture in the park-get ready for a serious splash!
  • Sky Dragster: An interactive roller coaster where you control the speed yourself using a throttle.
  • Kids’ Zones: Numerous play areas, trampolines, giant slides, and nostalgic carousels that let younger guests play safely.

History of the Amusement Park

The park’s roots date back to 1975, when it operated as a smaller amusement park in Stadtbergen. The turning point came in 1999, when the facility was purchased by the Löwenthal family-a well-known German family of circus performers and amusement park owners. They moved the park to its current location in Rammingen/Bad Wörishofen and rapidly expanded it with unique, often prototype rides, creating one of the most interesting parks in southern Germany.
