Legendia Slaskie Wesole Miasteczko is the oldest amusement park in Poland. It was opened in 1959 and covers an area of over 25 hectares. The amusement park is located in the Silesian Park in Chorzow, near the border with Katowice in Upper Silesia. Legendia has over 40 attractions of various types, both for the little ones and for those looking for extreme challenges. These include the Ferris wheel (Legendia Flower), the roller coasters Lech Coaster and Devil’s Loop, as well as water attractions such as the Diamond River and Dolina Jagi.

Pricing and Hours of Operation
Legendia operates seasonally (usually from April to October) and on select winter weekends (as the “Garden of Lights”).
Opening hours: Usually from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 8:00 PM during peak season. During special events (e.g., Legendia At Night), the park is open until midnight.
Prices on the Gopass system start at 100 PLN, and for children under 3 years old: 10 PLN. Tickets can be paid for by credit card or via online banking.
How to Get to Legendia
The park is located on the border between Chorzów and Katowice, at the heart of the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis.
By car, simply take the exit from the Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa (DTŚ) or the A4 highway toward Silesian Park. There is a paid parking lot next to the park (discounts for GOPASS cardholders).
Due to its proximity to the city, Legendia is also accessible by public transportation: the “Chorzów Wesołe Miasteczko” stop. Numerous trams run here from Katowice, Chorzów, and Bytom. You can also get there by bike.
